At approx. 16:33 hrs, Southwest Fire and Rescue Department was dispatched to Smoke filling up the house at the 2030 Saltillo Rd at the Wilderness Kennels. Dispatch notified all Southwest units back in service per the owner, the Smoke was from a Screwdriver left under the stove hood left by the repair man. SW 31 crew continued in to investigate, all other unit’s were returned to service. SW 31 investigated the fire and found a screw driver that the repair man had left, burning up when the home owner had turned on the stove. The house was already opened up and aired out; all Southwest units on location were returned to service.
