Hallam Fire and Rescue mutual-aided Southwest along with Firth, Crete, Clatonia and Cortland for a building fire on at 23101 SW 42nd. Southwest Fire responded to the incident with 9 volunteers. Hallam was on location first to find a detached garage fully involved, approximately 50 feet from the house. Hallam 31 laid there 5 inch supply line down the Drive way, once SW 32 was on location they supplied Hallam 31 from the road. Fire fighters worked to protect exposures and knock the fire down in the garage. Once the fire was knocked down and firefighter overhauled the building all units were returned to service as they were not needed anymore. All Southwest units were returned to service at 04:58.
