Interested in becoming a Southwest Fire/Rescue is always looking for active members, especially in the Sprague-Martell and Denton areas. You may also live in the city of Lincoln if you are close enough to the district to effectively and safely respond. If you want to help, but don't want to or can't serve in a fire/rescue capacity, the Southwest F.I.R.E. Society could use you. This auxiliary organization provides personnel rehab assistance during major incidents and helps support the department in many other important ways. F.I.R.E. Society membership is open to men and women, with or without connections to Department members. To apply, write or call the Department, and your request will be forwarded.
